Oolong tea is a variety of semi fermented tea between green and black tea and is best known for its sweet and flowery qualities. The plucked leaf is laid on blankets to wither. The leaves are periodically tossed in the air to lightly bruise them which causes a slow and gentle oxidisation.
Oolong tea is processed in 2 different ways either rolled into long curly leaves or pressed into ball-like form similar to gunpowder tea.
Because of its metabolic stimulating properties it can be used in conjunction with exercise and a healthy diet for weight loss.
